I have a new childrenswear label crush…MARMALADE&MASH. MARMALADE&MASH is a British childrenswear brand created by The London College of Fashion graduate Naomi Langford-Archer.
The brand is achingly cool and edgy, with a 1970’s inspired colour palette that is both vibrant and stylish. The trousers and gorgeous velvet blazers from the collection are also brilliantly versatile thanks to their unisex design.
One of the first things that struck me about the clothes when opening the box they arrived in (apart from the striking colour of the trousers and shirt) was how incredibly soft and well made they felt. You can really feel the quality in the fabric and the pride that has gone into making these garments.
The Autumn/Winter collection 2013 promises to bring a sense of eclectic British flavour. Deep Autumnal browns, navy blues and greens are given a lift with their brighter counterparts of orange, electric blue and pea green creating the perfect mix of class heritage with cool, suburban retro.
