Okay admittedly I had been putting this off…Jake has been needing a hair cut since he was about 4 months old but it just didn’t seem right to cut it at such a young age so instead I allowed it to grow wild and crazy.
His hair has always been a talking point. “Look at his hair (lol)” people would chortle with adjectives ranging from cute, crazy, punky, cool, hilarious, sweet and dude with a few OMG’s and haha’s thrown in from friends and complete strangers. I enjoyed every one of the comments because Jake was indeed the baby with the crazy hair and it was a source of daily amusement for me.

Once he hit six months however I felt the time had finally come to give him his first big boy’s haircut so we headed to the hairdresser with brother and sister in tow for their own haircuts and within ten minutes Jake had a whole new look! Goodbye crazy mohawk…how I will secretly miss you!
